Pangya Server Develop

After a long time of research

I’ve been here before, when I didn’t know how to create and develop a project focused on Pangya.

I started with the game’s IFF (Interface Format File) files.

Today I understand and manipulate data, but my real need was to achieve and have a Pangya server using my language:

C#/Csharp. In the beginning it was difficult, but after much persistence I managed to reach the almost official level of the game, progressing significantly compared to the real server. Let’s say I’m at 99.99%.

I’ve already done several tests and emulations, reaching this level.

See how it turned out:

Impressive work, congratulations! Judging by the date of the first video, you have been working on this project for 8 years  What is still missing to reach 100% compatibility?
Your server works with the Thai client, isn’t it?
After the work will be finished, are you planning any new feature to be added?

I made 3 versions:

Japan
Thailand
Global/US

I already had files and a lot of data saved on my computer. I did several tests until I got here. Just like Acrisio Super SS Dev, I learned many things on my own, and others I had help from fellow developers along the way. I had to stay focused on making the server progress, so time was something quite necessary for me, aside from the effort of trying to learn more than was necessary. At the moment I have no idea what to do, but I was going to try to rebuild the community, since the server has a great chance of getting a larger number of players simultaneously.

It’s strange to say this, but I’ve already tried collaborating with developers from other countries, or rather, I’ve tried contacting ‘server owners’ to reach an agreement where both parties benefit. But all of that became a waste of time, where selfishness doesn’t satisfy the server owner himself. If there were trustworthy people who wanted to invest in the server, that would be great!

It’s a problem similar to the current number of private servers. Ideally we’d only need one EN server and a couple of regional ones, given the number or current player. This is something that unfortunately can’t be done, as there are too many different point of views on how to handle the servers.
