In Search of Animations / Motions

So lately i have been getting back into 3D Modeling and Animating and happened to see that Pangya has some really nice Animations that i’d like to look closer at.

Yesterday i tried to grab some client files from other topics here and unpak - literally everything on the hunt to find animations. I ended up being able to import the mpet files into an older Version of Blender. But they didn’t have any Animations connected to it that Blender was able to read.

I also tried to use AI - but i was only able to read some motion data - i tried creating a python script that is able to show me that motion data frame by frame with a stick figure but i failed miserably and it turned into a freaky lasershow.

So maybe some of you guys here are able to tell me more about Animations in this game and how i might be able to get closer to them.

You can try to export the animations using Pixel’s tools, by reading the GBIN and PET files:

The animations are included in the PET files, the library parses them. Once extracted, the animation files will look like this:

I haven’t used these tools so I can’t help you much, but you can directly ask @pixeldesu if you have any issue.
