I just came across this little gem, the soundtrack (composed by Mark Sparkling) of the indie game Cursed to Golf, released on the 18th August 2022 on Bandcamp.
This album has been described by its author as “(…) a love letter to Mario Golf, PangYa, Castlevania as well as numerous other retro videogames and soundtracks!”
All the tracks have a distinctive chip music feel, but also have many Pangya-like melodies and arrangements, especially these ones:
