The 2025 Japanese book “The Truly Informative History of Games: Everything You Need to Know About How a Single Game Generates Hundreds of Millions of Yen” (本当にためになるゲームの歴史 1本のゲームが億を生む仕組みのすべて), by the veteran Japanese game designer, programmer, and writer Hiromasa Iwasaki, is being translated into Korean via a crowdfunding campaign.
The crowdfunding campaign is being held on Tumblebug and it has already reached its goal, currently it has collected 767,800 won out of 500,000:

In the book, Pangya is being shown as one of the earliest examples of gacha in Japanese videogames, as it was implemented there in the spring of 2005.
