New unofficial Pangya Mobile server project

A new, unofficial project has been opened on GitHub, aiming to try to implement a server for the Android/iOS Pangya Mobile game:

The server is written in Rust and it is being reverse-engineered from the original game files. No official server source code is being used.

The project authors warn that this project is currently in early development. The login method has not been fully figured out, so they cannot debug or properly test the server flow yet. Breaking changes may happen at any time.

The game’s Android clients (including the version 1.0.17, used by the server) can be found on Pangya Inventory. Note that the game currently can’t be started yet.

Never thought that Pangya Mobile would be back in any way, hopefully this project keeps going to preserve the game.

What about bringing the Pangya Mobile courses on the PC version ? I am not sur the touch screen experience on PC would be the best one, what do you think ?

I was thinking the same some time ago, and I’m all for it. It’s now possible to add new courses to the game, so it should be doable.

Yeap, a fun thing to do.

On which server is #retreev ?

The #retreev channel is on Discord. It’s a more technically-oriented channel devoted to discussions about Pangya server reimplementations and documenting how the Pangya clients/servers work.
